Soldiers will wait until you craft a weapon, and will then join you in battle at the end of the day. Swordsmen can only use swords, archers can only use bows, and so on. Each soldier is skilled with a certain type of weapon. Soldiers in the area will help you, but they need weapons first.
Build weapons that deal extra elemental damage for these enemies. Sometimes you will encounter Elemental Enemies that are weak against a certain Element.
